Penny Black "Wonderful Day"

My mom gave me these stamps for Christmas.... I just love them!

This card was super easy to put together. I used my copic markers of course and some of my new ribbon I got that I showed in a previous post. The green paper is called "Crinkle" paper that I found at Target and the mushroom paper in the background is from the "Woodland" stack by DCWV. Papertrey Ink cardstock, Enchanted Evening and Stamper's White, was used also. This card is 5x7

I looke forward to making more creations with this stamp set. I have already stamped some images so that when I feel like it all I have to do if break out my Copic markers.  =)

Cricut Circle Blog Challenge #12

I haven't been able to do one of these challenges in quite some time, what with Christmas and everything that has been going on. I actually almost miss this one since it ends Christmas Eve. The rules are; Use 2 cuts from the "Shall We Dance" cartridge and have 9 of one cut.

The medallions on this cart are great cuts! I cut the medallion and the couple's silhouette, then the blank medallion and used my gypsy to create the background medallion, which I then used my Cuttlebug and the Divine Swirls embossing folder.

There are 9 stars that are also glimmer mist with Marshmallow and I also used my I-rock on this card for the studs in the corners.

I really love the pearl paper of the top frame that I also pop-dotted.

Christmas Day has finally come!! Enjoy this wonderful time of the year!!

It's ok to change it up a bit.

So I decided to make this card. I wanted to use the Cricut cartridge "When it's Cold Outside". On the snowflake I used Tattered Angels glimmer mist, Marshmellow. The jewels on the snowflake are done using the I-rock. The background is done with some Cor'dinations paper with the Cuttlebug folder, Swiss Dots. I wrapped that paper with some Papertrey Ink twine. Then used some Papertrey Ink, Vintage Cream, buttons.

Ok so I looked at this card for about a day or more and decided that I really didn't like the buttons and I didn't like the brightness of the blue and pink of the snowflake. So after some consideration I revised this card a little bit and so far I am liking it the look of it a lot better.

As you can see I took the buttons off and replace them with some scallops I punched with my Fiskars border punch. I also removed the snowflake and the backing and spritz them with some, Juniper, Glimmer mist. That help to darken the colors a bit. I also used my Gelly Roll, Stardust, pen and outlined the snowflake with it, just to give a little more dimension.

I do have a little something that I put together tonight. But it is way past my bed time now and I much get some sleep!! I hope to have that post up later today or tomorrow.

A new find!

So in yesterday's post I had mentioned that my Husband and I went to Craft Warehouse. Well not only did I find that wonderful stamp I used in yesterday's project post but I found this neat ribbon set from American Crafts.

Each spool hold 2yrds and there is 40 colors. Plus it came with it's own holder, not the best quality but it will hold the ribbon =) This was on sale for $15.00

Christmas gift idea

Ok I can't take all the credit for this one. My father did make the Kahlua! These are some gifts he is giving this Christmas and he had asked me to make a label for them. Well this is what I came up with! =)

I recently won Mystical Garden (Imagine pattern Cartridge) off of Ebay, in fact it just arrived today! So the background paper with the ring design is from that cartridge. I used lacy Labels also for the first bottle and then some default images that the Imagine comes with and also a few Nestabilities dies. I also just got this Christmas stamp today. I saw it while my Husband and I were at Craft Warehouse. They are having a 40% off regular priced item sale. This stamp was the only thing I could find that wasn't on sale lol. I think it worked out perfectly!!

The ribbon I got at a scrapbook convention last year and the twine is from Papertrey Ink. I also used Rustic White, Fine Linen, Scarlet Jewel and Pine Feather Papertrey Ink Card stock. The paper that is embossed with the Cuddlebug folder, Swiss Dots, is some cordinations paper. The bottles are some recycled bottles we have saved.

Here is a close up of the stamp. Sorry thee pictures aren't that great. Not easy to get a good one with all that reflective glass!!

Underneath the labels (they are removable) I used my sticker machine and adhered a more permanent label that simply says "Homemade Kahlua, Drink Responsibly"     =)

A little goodie my Mom got for me.

So a couple of weeks ago or so my Mom and I went Christmas shopping. We always stop by Craft Warehouse when we are together. We did our thing and when we were putting all of our lovely finds in the trunk my mom gave me this cute little kitty stamp! How adorable and I just love it. So I was sure to make a card with it. I used my copic markers of course and some Martha Stewart white flocking powder for the Santa hat. =)

An evening with my Mom =)

When my Mom and I get together we have so much fun!! Especially when we get to do some crafting together, which isn't as often as it should be. My husband and I were up visiting, he was working out the christmas light situation there and my Mom and I got to spend sometime and make a few cards.

These are all from her supplies. I think they turned out really cute. She has such a variety of stuff!! Treasures in every corner =)

Christmas goodies!!

So this year I decided to give my co-workers a little Christmas goodie. I got the cellophane bags from Walmart. They were like a 20cnt for $1.00. I used Papertrey Ink cardstock, Pinefeather and Stamper's Select White, for the tags. I got the Christmas stamp at Craft Warehouse, which I cut out using the basic shapes on the Imagine. Super easy and yummy!! I had to make it quick since I had 17 of these to do. =)

I got this HUGE bag of candy at Costco and I had quite a bit left over so I made some up for some family members too! Goodie bags for their Stocking bags.

Well thats all I got for now! I keep coming up with these "little" Christmas projects to do, so I might have more later!

Circle It!!
